I was trapped in the darkness when I opened my eyes.
I was standing in a place, where there was nothing. I was surrounded by nothing.
Emptiness.
I started to walk, searching through the pitch black darkness. For something, for someone. Anyone, anything.
I started to feel desperate. No matter where I went, nothing was to be seen or heard.
My eyes started to feel watery. I stopped walking and frowned. Why were my eyes getting watery?
Then it hit me that I was crying.
No, I told myself. I am not going to cry.
I continued walking, and looked around. I wasn't even sure if I was going straight, left or right. What if I wasn't really walking and getting anywhere? What if I was stuck in this darkness forever?
A tear escaped my left eye as I thought of how horrible it would be if I was truly stuck in here. I wiped it away before it reached down to my chin.
I held my chin up high. I will get out of here, and I will be okay.
I continued walking, not stopping. I don't know how long I have been walking, but I didn't stop until I found any hope.
Suddenly I started to feel cold. A cold breeze hit me and I shivered. What was wind doing in this darkness?
Wind...
Wind! That was a sign that life was nearby!
I ran ignoring the cold and called out to no one. "Is anybody there?"
As expected, there was no reply but the wind got stronger as if I was getting closer to escaping this darkness. This emptiness.
I continued running. It didn't matter which direction as long as I was getting somewhere. Trying to get somewhere was better than standing helplessly in the dark.
Finally, I saw something. Something white and glowing in the darkness. I squinted.
It was an exit!
I ran faster now, excited to have found a way out.
At last I reached the exit. I realized the setting. I saw it once in my life, and never went back. Something about it pained me in the chest.
The gray lifeless place. Where was it?
Just as I was about to head back to the darkness, someone appeared before me.
Rather, they were disappearing before me.
I frowned. Who was it? Why are they reaching out towards me?
"Are you scared of me, onna?" that voice. It was too familiar, yet a stranger.
My mouth spoke on its own. "I am not."
"I see." the voice replied.
I reached out to them. My body suddenly belonged to someone else. I could not control it. But when I reached out, their hand disappeared. The person disappeared.
For some reason, I started to feel sad. Really sad. My heart as well, belonged to someone else. Who was controlling me?
Black ash stirred in front of me. It rose from the ground, and was now forming into something. Something I couldn't quite make out.
The ashes came together slowly, as if every movement took work and dedication.
I waited. Waited till the ashes were done coming together. What was it? Who was it?
My heart pounded hard in my chest. Excitement and fear filled me.
Excitement? Fear? From what?
Then, suddenly in a blink of an eye someone appeared before me. The same person as before, except he was more clear now.
Then everything came tumbling onto me.
My memories of him, my tears. My feelings.
I gasped as I realized who he was.
And then I woke up.

UlqiHime - A Second Chance
Ulquiorra cocked his head at the image on the mantle piece a part of hismwas still disbelieving of its contents and the life he had lead thereafter. It was a striking picture without a doubt, Orihime in a simple sleek white dress, flattering her curves without making her look unbalanced, and her face glowed far more beautiful than the sun, reflecting on her groom too, his green eyes seemed to shine through the print. Ulquiorra hated it when people compared his wife's smile to the sun, he'd always found its light a harsh glare, ready to blacken and burn. She was warm and a guiding light yes, but there was never the slightest threat in h

Will Take You, Will Have You
Keep fleeing, no looking back,
Fair maiden, up one foot and down the other,
The unknown darkness ahead,
Can hide you from what's behind you for only so long...

When the sun decided to peek through the bright green leaves during the warmest part of the afternoon, when each breath brought peace and thoughts of blissful summers, and when the crunch of stale, unmoving rocks and dead plants reverberated between tree trunks was the time Orihime Inoue cherished most out of the year.
The feeling of catching a sunbeam just right in her eye and feeling her iris contract her pupils was familiar and comforting, albei

Rain - UlquiHime
Rain
It was not in his nature to notice such trivial things, but truthfully, the woman did look beautiful tonight. Though, he could not quite put his finger on why... Perhaps it was the way the pale Hueco Mundo moonlight flooded through her barred window, and reflected off her fiery hair. Or the way her Arrancar-like uniform hugged all her curves in all the right places. Or maybe, just maybe, it was the air of resolve that swirled around her. Either way, he perceived her as lovely this evening and he wasn't entirely sure how he felt about that.
After delivering her meal, and insisting that she consume it, he was about to leave her ce
